Brower Park provides access to the 18 miles of navigable water on the backwaters of the Hardy Dam. This beautifully wooded 280-acre park boasts almost 8000 feet of river frontage with 1000 feet of sandy beach. Watersports and family friendly amenities highlight the attractions of the park. The Hardy Pond is accessible by boat launches on the north and south shorelines. Family friendly activities include event programming, arts and crafts, hayrides, and movie nights.

Accommodations Brower Park offers 230 campsites and 10 cabins. There are three modern toilet buildings in the park with showers and flush toilets. Two vault toilets are located near the Shallow Water Boat Launch. All campsites have electrical hook-up and a water outlet. Each site includes a picnic table and fire pit. Park Rules and Regulations Click here for a complete listing of park rules and regulations Seasonal Sites Brower Park offers 120 seasonal campsites on a lottery basis each camping season. All Seasonal Campsites are full for the 2025 season. Picnic Shelter/Pavilion The park offers one picnic shelter for rental. The pavilion provides picnic tables and has electricity. Michigan’s Dragon at Hardy Dam The Dragon is a nonmotorized trail that has propelled West Michigan into a premier adventure sports destination providing primarily hiking, running, and mountain biking experiences. The final trail system is a 45-mile linear County Park jointly managed by the Newaygo and Mecosta County Park Commissions. In addition, West Michigan Mountain Biking Alliance (WMMBA) has entered into a volunteer maintenance agreement with the Park Commissions to assist with routine maintenance of this world-class trail system.
