The Mecosta County
Park Commission has 7 full-time employees that work year round.
During the summer there varies between 1-50 seasonal employees from
April to September. The Mecosta County Park Commission is and

New Seasonal Employment -
Anyone looking for seasonal
employment with the Mecosta County Park Commission can pick up an
application for employment at the Administrative Office. All
applications must be submitted in person to the Administrative Office.
Applications for the following season will not be accepted until after the new year begins (i.e.
applications for 2008 will only be accepted after 1-1-08 thru 8-1-08).

Returning Seasonal
Employees -
Staff that was employed by
the Park Commission at the end of the 2007 season has the opportunity
to return for the 2008 season by invitation only. Their return is strictly
performance based; good workers are asked back. A letter and
return postcard are sent out in the spring to those employees asked to
return. They simply fill out the postcard answering the
questions and mail it back to the Administrative Office and the
fulltime staff will be in touch. (PS. if you have moved during
the winter and have a new address please notify the Administrative
Office if you are interested in returning so we can mail the letter to
you)
